The goal of this lesson is for students to be able to navigate an emergency experience with increased confidence in their language abilities. With these lessons, students will be able to:

  • Provide essential information

  • Describe what happened

  • State what is injured

  • Describe the condition

  • Explain where and when it happened

  • Understand emergency situation aid

These lessons were designed with the idea that each instructor will approach them in a different way to meet student needs and interests. Flexibility and scaffolding are built into all six sub-topics.
