The goal of the Banking and Numbers lesson is for students to be able to understand the services provided by a bank in the United States and increase confidence in financial decision-making with the topics of:

  • Identify Numbers and Money

  • Your Budget

  • Using banks in the United States

  • Accounts: Checking and Savings

  • ATM, Credit & Debit Cards

  • Money Orders & Loans

These lessons were designed with the idea that each instructor will approach them in a different way to meet student needs and interests. Flexibility and scaffolding are built into all six sub-topics.
