Networking at Your Fingertips

Have you heard about the GOSOSY professional networking website? The site is aclearinghouse of information designed to help MEP staff throughout the consortium to improve services to MEP-eligible out-of-school youth.

The site’s multiple pages include Forum Discussions on topicslike new resources, interesting articles, questions and answers about difficult issues, etc. Groups include OSY Instructors, OSY/MEP Recruiters, and State ID&R Coordinators. A member directory is a good way to connect with other staff.

Users have the ability to upload their own photos and peruse the collections of others. Videos are also being added continually and currently feature OSY success stories, information about human trafficking, health programs, and a history of the Migrant Education Program.

Here are some samples of the excellent resources found on the NING site. Stay informed and join the site! To join, email Scott Wilhelm at smwilhelmimc@gmail.com for an invitation.
